Editorial policy
Canada Ready Home uses an editorial-brand author identity: Canada Ready Home editorial team. We do not claim named expert review or hands-on product testing unless that review or testing has actually happened and is recorded in the project files.
How we build guides
- Use official Canadian government, provincial, manufacturer, and reputable retailer sources where possible.
- Keep product specs, price language, seller details, and availability dated and rechecked before publication.
- Avoid hands-on testing claims unless the site owner has actually tested the product and recorded evidence.
- Keep medical, safety, wildfire-smoke, carbon monoxide, and food-safety language conservative and source-backed.
- Separate editorial judgment from affiliate-link handling so commercial pages can be reviewed before launch.
Commercial publication gates
Commercial pages should not be treated as publish-ready until these checks are complete:
- product validation
- affiliate disclosure review
- health and safety claim review
- final human/legal review
Affiliate links
Affiliate relationships do not change the requirement to flag caveats, stale prices, unverified seller details, product-fit limits, and safety concerns. Product links should come from the central registry rather than being scattered through article copy.
